Default Strange VoIP problem

Ever since Link2VoIP shut down, I've been having a strange issue with my softphone. I am physically disabled and cannot use a regular phone easily, so I rely on my softphone pretty heavily. I use a feature called "simultaneous ring" from my regular telephone provider (Shaw) to call my DID whenever the regular telephone number is dialled. This used to work perfectly with Link2VoIP, but with VoIP.MS and now Callcentric, I experience either disconnections or one-way audio (they can't hear me) when using the simultaneous ring feature, especially if somebody is already on the other phone.

The softphone I am using is ninja Pro, but the problem also occurs with the 3CX Windows softphone.

Obviously, the issue is somewhere on my end, but I have tried different router configurations and everything else I can think of to no avail. Does anybody have any ideas for me? I really need this to work.
