"The Hatfields & The McCoys" is coming to History Channel Canada next week. The miniseries chronicles the famous clash of clans and stars Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton.

The website says the series is a three parter. I have to assume most of those times are repeats and that the first showing of each episode is Monday night at 8:00?

Has anyone heard of the History Channel show Mountain Men coming to History Channel Canada? I can't find any info on it airing in Canada.

I'll give it a try but it kind of bothers me that the actual events took place on the border of West Virginia and Kentucky and this was shot in Romania.

Please don't confuse people by giving Atlantic time. We know that the whole world revolves around the Eastern and Pacific Time Zones.

Enjoyed the first part of this program but very upset with the dominent logo and promo bit in the upper left side of the screen. Once again we are treated like morons. Will now tape the program and at least get rid of the annoying commercials.

Exactly! I also found the promo very distracting. The colour wasn't very vivid and the picture was quite dark when I played the PVR tonight. Our area was supposed to get History HD on April 10 but it still hasn't happened. I suppose the HD version was way brighter and the colour much better than the crappy version I saw.

Edit: I just located a letter from Shaw saying that the "Digital Network Upgrade will be complete in your area by March 6, 2012" I've sent several emails to Shaw regarding this and I get a different story every time I talk to a Shaw rep whenever I ask them when the DNU is going to take place. We even purchased a HD box for the bedroom so my wife could view some of her favourite channels on Tier1, Tier2, and Tier3 that would not be available (eg BNN) after a certain date if we didn't get a HD receiver or HD PVR. Not a good way to run a company! IMHO
