Use Vonage app as default dialer? - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

Is there an app or setting that I could use to make all outgoing calls use my Vonage app.
I've been very impressed with the quality of calls on this so I would like to use it for all outgoing calls.
I'm using an android phone that is rooted with a custom rom, if that matters.

The reason I want this is I just use pay as you go with a $10 month 100mb plan. Phone calls cost me 35 cents a minute whereas the Vonage app only uses about 2mb for a 5 minute call and data overages are 15 cents a mb so any way you look at it it's cheaper.

At any point when you opened the dialler app, did it give you the option to use Vonage? If it did, you probably need to reset the defaults for the dialler app. If it didn't, then Vonage probably isn't an option as the dialler.

No it didn't, just Dell Voice but the quality of that is quite bad.

Hopefully they'll update the app, thanks.
