Returns this Sunday and I am really looking forward to it. I was not upset about the last season finale and I thought the whole thing was excellent. Hope they can keep it going.

it was well done but I was really disappointed with the lack of closure in last season's finale. Still very much looking forward to the new episodes!

I wasn't upset that they didn't resolve the case last season, but despite good acting the plot twists with all the red herrings were stupid. I doubt I'll watch again this season.

I'd like to see the original Danish series that it is based on, but it doesn't look like any Canadian broadcaster will be showing it.

Great to see other fans on this board. I too am looking forward to the season 2 premiere.

The ending, although a let down, did not put me off this show. I am sure they will give us more this season - if they want us to continue watching that is!

Did not realize this was modelled after a Danish TV series.

The original was broadcast on the bbc and was excellent! I'm watching the second series now and it promises to be just as good as the first.

Second season is a dud, in my opinion. Could hardly make sense of the show due to muddy audio and mostly night settings. Seems the general viewership agrees as it was very low for a premiere. Has to improve before I move on.

I just watched the second season premiere and I really enjoyed it and thought it was very good. I'd be disappointed if viewership is down because I love the show.

It's listed in Rogers on Demand, but when I access The Killing it says:

No titles currently available.

I was hoping Rogers on Demand might have it in HD.

Glad I'm not the only one struggling on that front - I was thinking I needed to get my hearing checked.

I think Holder in particular mutters a lot and it's hard to catch what he says. It must go along with the fact that they are all so pale and sickly looking

I still love the show.

All I can say is thank goodness for PVRs so I can rewind and crank the volume up. I find them all hard to hear.

I really liked season 1 but this season seems really slow. And the mystery aspect which is the whole premise of the show is quite frankly getting old. I'll keep watching though but only because i've invested so much already that I want to see it through.

I always use closed captioning, and thank goodness all programming on AMC is closed captioned. Also, I am glad that Eastlink carries this on the On Demand portion of their service. And in HD as well. I am only discovering this series now.

agreed. I was thinking of abandoning the show, but the most recent ep. offered a dark glimmer of hope.
