If it is still scheduled on the PVR, the shows will be recorded when they reappear in the guide, if on same day and time slot. Haven't tested the other combinations ('this day, anytime').

Tanta- that is the weird thing it now longer shows on the pvr however, I did not delete it. I guess I will see if it comes back. If this is a bug I will email Videotron.
BTW where do you see "anyday anytime". I know on Illico 1.0 it was there but now I only see record once or record series. Is there a deeper option somewhere? Thanks |

Sorry Rainey, my post was with respect to Illico 1. My PVR is not Illico 2 compatible (SA8300).

Hey guys !
Is there any way to see ALL programmed show even if a show is not upcoming in the guide (i.e. next 2 weeks) ? I like that feature of the old illico, that way we could clean up things in there (i.e. remove [Motoring 2011] and only keep [Motoring 2012]). Thanks ! p.s. Besides that, my wife and I like the new interface, less need to use the A, B, C and more use of the arrows/Enter buttons. All good for someone with small(er) hands using an Harmony One !

Just noticed that if you set up recordings with conflicts it will tell you if they are one time only recordings; if it includes a series it just removes the full series recording set up without any warning! However, if you set up the series recording after the other one time only recordings it tells you there is a conflict with the others. Very strange and a bit of an issue if you don't re-check your recording set ups. This did not happen with illico 1.0.
Anyone know a way around this or is there somewhere I can let videotron know of this "bug". Overall like illico 2.0 but still on the fence about switching to Bell Fibe. |

Good luck with the migration. Remember there may be some issues along the way but from my 6 weeks with the new illico I can say I am happy.
Let us know how it goes and those of us who have migrated can help if you have any questions. |

I spoke with a representative and they confirmed that it stays in the memory of the server and will "come back" in the scheduled recordings when it is back up on schedule. I will keep an eye on it.

Hey guys !
Here's my report so far with the PVR (CISCO 8642): I got migrated early June and found my first real bug, I had ± 60 recordings and on July 29 we got a black screen trying to play a recorded show. I had to unplug to reboot and from that point on we could read an error message on top of the recorded show list "Error recording xx shows" with my hard drive space cleared up (100% free). Chated multiple times with tech support and about a week later the error message disappeared. They could not explain it ... at that point a requested a format (apparently we cannot do it ourselves anymore !?) Hopefully this won't happend in october or november when we record a lot :s Over.

I updated last night ,supper fast, clean look , lost 11 recordings, expected it so i'm ok with that, had a external hard drive maybe they are on that, the only thing I don't like is the bars on SD channels before I had it set to upconvert1 and the screen stretched from the tv (much better then the illico one), the rest I'm happy with, love the fact it tells you the size of your recordings that 15.2gig movie I have will have to be watched 1st.

newf,
Is your external drive still plugged in ? Does the new software see its space as being available or does it just ignore it ? |

I have the PVR set to show only my package channels but when i turn off the PVR, it resets to all channels when i turn it back on. Is there a way to lock my settings in even after turning the PVR off?

HIDEF: unfortunately not. I just learn to hit the 'filter' button as soon as my STB turns on.
