Good stuff. I just ordered it, altho I will download as well. I also have the sp1 disk and it is very useful when I had to reload xp.

Peter, thanks for the link!

I have ordered my copy. I wonder if it will include SP1 on it?

SP2 includes all patches and hotfixes from day 1 of XP (SP1 included) and a lot more.
There have been some issues so make sure you are ready with at least 1.8gb of disc space free (it wont need all that when finished) and that all your software/hardware are up to date.
See this page: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/s...hattoknow.mspx
Here is a list of programmes that don't seem to work after SP2 (N.B. "seem")

Those of you with P4 "Prescott" cpu's need to upgrade from website before applying SP2

Got my SP2 CD today as a backup even though I already downloaded it off the internet last week - So if I ever do have to re-format and re-install XP, this has SP1 on it too? Does anyone remember that update CD we all ordered last March? (I'll try and find the link on the forums if I can) Is that just updates and would I still have to plug that in to after I re-installed everything?

Thanks
Shawguy
