Humm..they were spotted doing stunts for the show in the states...either they make it to the final round or its the first round stunts before they fly off somewhere.

I hate when they recycle these reality "stars" especially ones nobody like the first time around.

Wasn't he in the process of curing Cancer or something?

I bailed on the last season halfway through. First time since it started. The cast just didn't grab me, and I think the format is getting stale. I'll give this one a shot, but maybe not for long.

Interesting. I baled, too. I get tired of the airport sequences. Always seems the same -- standing at the counter trying for a faster route.

I've always wished they would let us see more of the cities or countryside. The camera usually pans at lighting speed across a cityscape, as if the viewers have no attention span at all. I often use slow motion with my PVR.

Doubt I'll watch the upcoming season.

Well in all fairness, it's not a travel show. It's a race. the contestants don't get to see the scenery either, they're too busy racing.

It's also a TV show which means adding a travel component would be appealing to many (rather than seeing the conflict between people).

I enjoy seeing the sites.

I think they do a fair job at showing the places when they initially get there and before they arrive with the previews of the locations.

As far as what the cameras show while they are racing..their main job is to follow the subjects around and they often use local camera crews to accomplish it.

They could at least do something similar to what survivor does after each commercial break--show the jungle/beach with spiders/crabs/frogs or a nice sunset etc.

Man, there's a lot of testosterone, and arm tattoos, in this season...

I made it halfway through ep1. I'm out. It just doesn't do it anymore. Same boring tasks, same boring writing.

I'm surprised they didn't show the usual airport ticket scrum at the beginning. I can't remember them not showing that before in a season opener. But maybe they wanted to save the airtime for more skydiving scenes.

LOL at Brendan hating the border guards all ready just because he's half-Mexican.
