I agree with you re: Ripley's Game -- I really enjoyed that movie, and thought Malkovitch was sure good in the lead role. Damon of course, plays a much younger Ripley, and I've always been a little unsure how he would do in such a role. But reviews of the movie at dvdreview and dvdtalk give 'high marks' to the movie, and Damon in the role. Looking forward to watching it. Cheers!!

"Heartbreak Ridge" $6.43.

One of the best cuss-mouth movies I've seen.

Anamorphic WS with a surprisingly clean 5.1 mix.

The Wal-Mart near me always has crap in their markdown bin.

None of the titles I've seen you guys mention are ever there. Going to have to hit one of the other stores and see if I can get some better titles to choose from.

Wally-Mart has some new "discounted" movie 'stacks' (at my local store they're located in the main aisle near the $6.88 bin) -- various "two for" offerings. Picked up two movies yesterday @ '2 for $15'. Noticed today, that some of the 'Star Trek' movies are now there, and they're priced @ '2 for $25'. Something's really pulling at me to go back tomorrow and pick up some of these movies (maybe the first four in the series)!! 'The Wrath of Khan' (Director's Cut) and 'The Journey Home' @ $25, sure looks like a great deal!! Wonder if 'First Contact' is there?

I got that one for 6.88, wife and I watched it. Entertaining, but not a keeper. We passed it on to some friends with the words "watch it and pass it on". I guess we set it free!

Maybe we could start a new trend, tag a 6.88 movie and see were it ends up (I think people do that with books, they leave them in public places and if you find it you log it at a website?).

The only problem is that somewhere down the line some one will end up keeping the movie.

Seems like a good idea to me.

I've passed along a few.

$6.88 Bin - R.I.P.

Last night at Wally I got 'Lethal Weapon 2 & 3' - 2 for $12 and 'The Hustler' and 'Quest For Fire' - 2 for $15.

Lots of other flicks I paid much more for in the displays...
