Boardwalk Empire Season 1 is on sale at Future Shop (on January 10th) for $39.99 and $52.99 in Blu-ray.

Is this worth investing in? I hear it's a great series...

I haven't started on S2 yet but I LOVED S1.

I know many people who have watched and only one out of the bunch didn't care for the series.

Take a look in the What's On TV forum and there is a big thread discussing the show. This was a very popular show.

Ooops..... I see Boardwalk Empire isn't available until January 10th.
I took Hugh's advice and did some investigation into the series. It looks like
a winner for sure. I'm a huge Steve Buscemi fan.

I'll definitely be picking Season One up next Tuesday.
