I know, The US Virgin Island is very close 8 miles away and I can get cell reception from Cingular with my Cingular cell at certain locations. Can clearly see it from my sister house.

Will be sending down a regular vhf/ufh antenna so my brother in law can get station from the Us Virgin Island, they have satellite tv at their house. San Juan much further away a good 80-100 miles away.

I just check the weather and see its cold up there. Damm I know Iam wicked, sorry bit it's now sunny and low 80's.

Here a view from my sisiter house over looking the bay.

Sorry for the off topic but I did mention sending down antenna for a setup. No HD ota transmission around here.

Default There is HD OTA in the US Virgin Island

Did a search and came up with this. When I get back going to send my sister a Channel master vhf/uhf antenna and proper preamp and splitters.

Seems the 4 hd are bring broadcasted in uhf.

Its only 8 - 10 miles away. Here a shot using my 10x optical zoom on the camera from her balcony.

Stations that are being brocasted.

No Nbc or Fox in digital HD and that's where NFL is.

Imagine CW got a ota hd transmitter not not the two big stations. Maybe this list I got on the web is outdated ?

Iam in the British Virgin Island and the US Virgin Island is no more than 10 miles away.

In the guest bedroom hook up 48" of speaker wire and was able to pull in 4 channels from the US Virgin Island.

Here is Nbc a bit fuzzy but not bad for speaker wires.

The Nbc is analog but they promote the HD logo.

Cant wait for the channel master antenna results,my sister wants me down again in Jan or Feb so Iam giving her the tools compression ends, cable stripper, cable etc..

Will be sending down a channel master cross fire series to her with a vhf/uhf preamp and diplexers and Iam alsio sending down a 3x4 multi switch as she has 3 satellite receivers here and 4 tv's.

So the British Virgin Islands use NTSC/ATSC too instead of PAL/DVB-T like the UK?

Yep, everything in the carribean uses ntsc and for HD atsc.

So anything bought in the North America works here. The voltages are also 120v/60hz.

They just drive on the left side of the road though, just like Jamaica

Going back to Bvi again Feb 25 for a week.

My sister is flying me down to setup her antenna and multi satellite setup to 4 rooms.

I already sent down a multi switch/diplexer, 100 coax connector, cable stripper, crimper, etc so she could wire sat and antenna to 4 rooms.

I ordered and its already on her way to Bvi antenna for her and a friend, channel master preamp and 1000' of rg6 cable.

Will post pictures of the satellite dish and antenna after I fully setup when Iam there.

Will be setting up a Channel Master Crossfire 3677.
