Shaw made a application to launch there own Canadian Version of the channel and it got approved a few days ago

I would like to see TruTV come to Canada. I always like watching the live trials on TruTV when I am down in the USA.

What a bunch of crap. The US version would have been just fine... The CRTC is a joke. Oh well, the Cdn one will be fine, but it's so silly. Guess it's time to dump Oasis... lol...

TLC is not a Canadian channel. Discovery provides a separate feed for Canada as not all programs on TLC are cleared for Canada. If there is a program that TLC does not have the rights to in Canada, Discovery typically replaces the program with another program from Planet Green.

I suspect that Nat Geo Wild will be in HD due to the fact that it is owned by Shaw and will only be on Shaw at the launch.

The Constantly Changing Channel TV provider (Shaw) is at it again! Just saw an advert in the local (Edmonton) paper that they will be changing channel numbers once again!

Well Shaw didn't launch ABC Spark in HD despite the fact that they pretty much that network as well so who knows.

There is a thread on Shaw channel changes that I started a couple weeks back.

Still waiting for bpmtv and the other music video channels.

Hopefully we also get Global Reality too this summer; just in time for Big Brother.

If this is the way to tell, I must have had the DNU now as I am receiving the channels above 250 as of today.

251 Animal Planet HD
252 Movie Central 2 HD
253 Movie Central 3 HD
254 Sportsnet World HD (not subscribed)

Now that is good news to me! I am in the Surrey/Cloverdale area.
