** Last night since I haven't done any investigation on new channels or any realignments for a long time. So I decided tonight to conduct some research and get some answers to various forums of new HD Channels *

SPACE HD & Discovery HD and other BELL MEDIA channels will be launched in HD. whats this means the 500 section of the lineup is now full. = - solution realignment of channels increasing channels frequencies in 1000 range * firmware upgrade * is required

More and More HD channels will be added to lineup in the near future.
*HDNET may be added back *

I spoken to Sales/Customer Service Rep today, Jan 5, 2012 @ 8pm-10pm confirming details

I decided to call today and ask and everyone I talked to said they had no clue to why those channels are posted. Only the one girl i talked to a couple of days ago said what was happeneing. How do you get them to spill the beans.. Lol

Only High-Level Sales Agents and Customer Care Specialists are privy to the new channels launching.

All Rogers Employees in Sales/Service and Tech Support are not told of the launch until a week or 2 days before it occurs.

I noticed Food HD listed in the Ottawa listings on channel 597 on Zap2it. Is Food HD available in Ottawa? Or Toronto?

I hope Rogers will add the 50 new Galaxie channels, not sure if they are launch or not, does anyone have any information?

Even though CNNI is licensed in Canada, I don't think any BDUs ever went and picked it up.

If it was included with Digital VIP it would be a channel I would watch, but not one that I would pay extra for in the News Package.

I think most of the other providers have it except Rogers.

channel 597 is not on to lineup for Toronto or in GTA

Space HD is being offered on Rogers? On HD VIP package channel listing they mention Space HD.

The Canadian version of the NHL Network is not broadcast in HD.
