Default Scarborough to get a new Ethnic FM Radio station

In a broadcasting decision handed down today, the CRTC has approved an application by Subanasiri Vaithilingam for a broadcasting licence to operate a commercial ethnic FM radio programming undertaking in Scarborough, Ontario.

The commission says the new station must be operational within 24 months of the decision. The station would operate at 105.9 FM with an effective radiated power of 45 watts.
