Half a step in the right direction .. still doesn't look all that impressive ... everything else needs an update .. and badly.

Still nothing new yet, the Olympics are over and September is approaching, just annoying now since the new scoreclock was introduced in December 2010. Anyways one minor note Sportscentre takes it 10 in 10 show to Clarenville, Newfoundland today.

It's funny, during the Olympics, TSN had their logo with the rings outside the 4:3 area ... and it was great not being in the way! Then, when CFL kicked back on .. it came back in our view of the game! Like wtf? Why not use it for everything except for the Olympics. I gurantee that thing about TSN or CTV getting more harddrive space for something .. it was just "rented" for the Olympics ... I wish their was a ESPN feed I could just watch .. legally.

Been almost another month and no signs of change or any implemented. However since the NHL is in lockout mode, this might help the slow pokes at T.SN to get their hockey programming tuned up to their long overdue newer style and gadgets. Here's hoping anyways.

Sad to see .. I feel that when TSN uses graphics from 2007-2008 .. you know there are problems. hahaha, TSN should introduce the ESPN rundown on the side of screen for many MANY reasons ... it would work for CFL pre game show or whatever anything could use it. Then, maybe with that rolled out, they could hit 16:9 .. with their single stack ticker 16:9 as well, AND that ticker also used on Sportscenter ... wink wink. But, never will happen. NEVER.

I just noticed on youtube, after typing in RDS Info, that since January, THEY HAVE A WHOLE NEW GRAPHICS PACKAGE!!!!! What, is RDS info more important then TSN? ...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCn7LAjmnBo

They still use the same old outdated overlay graphics (Name bar, info screens... etc) Just seems like TSN loves how amazingly bad those old graphics looks that they don't want to change them!

I've been noticing this since the new scorebug, like its something they're contracted not to change until the end of time or something.

supposedly. Compared to .. "ESPN the Worldwide Leader in Sports!"

I honestly wish, that back in '01 they changed to ESPN Canada, then, once everyone knew it switched to ESPN, dropped "Canada" from it or whatever, and than basically be like ESPN U.S. ESPN UK, ESPN America etc are all the same thing as ESPN U.S. but instead, we get the short end of the stick like always .. just something we are already use to... just gonna have to wait till Dish Network or Directv is legal here ... again.

Watching their re-run of the finals of the 2005 World Juniors, and I notice something:

1. They must've got it off an old tape from when TSN HD had its own 16:9 bug. While its a big large now, its better than no 16:9 bug at all.

2. That scoreboard is like Fox's before its time. Dress it up in the new red/white look (AND AT LEAST USE THE WHOLE LOOK FOR ONCE) and it could be perfect.

Nothing major and not even sure if its new but noticed yesterday on the CFL game, TSN had like a watermark bug in the top right corner, their new slanted logo in red. Possibly just for that particular game

Ah yes, I believe that was for cancer awareness, it looked pink on my friends TV .. but it also looked very dumb, why not get rid of the logo on the screen all together, and make the score box rectangle thing pink .. or whatever, I don;t know why TSN has to have their logo on twice.

Because then they would have no branding on the screen during replays, etc, when the scorebox is not on the screen.

Why couldn't they do what ESPN does? Put the bug in when they do replays. Many other stations don't include there logo in their score bar, (fox and what not) Fox can have the bug on their screen because 1. its outside the 4:3 safe area and 2 no logo in the score bar. which in my opinion, looks nice.
