Default Fire Log Channel

Does anyone know if Aliant has the Fire Log channel with Christmas music playing like Bell TV does?

I haven't seen anything yet, however I know this was mentioned on a Survery I did on Fiberop and Fiberop TV probably 5 months ago, so it is something they probably are considering, and we maybe may see soon hopefully.

I'm not sure what Aliant usually does, but most IPTV providers have some free fireplace type VODs in December, so you may want to check the VOD section occasionally. If you're interested in the Christmas background music, Galaxie has 3 channels to choose from, available until Jan 8, 2012.

Is 415 open? Appears to be a down-rezed HD signal. Maybe it'll show up.

I have it on Zoom3...fills the screen nicely. Its got some pop and sizzle to it as well....that way you can play your own Xmas music for the background.

I always tend to leave the fireplace channel on the bedroom tv at nights when it has the fire crackle noise. The other morning though, at about 7:30, both my wife who was out with the baby in the living room with the channel on (sleeping on the couch so i wouldnt wake up apparently) and me in the bedroom woke up to loud christmas music over a different looking fireplace with what i'd swear was a CTV logo in the corner. I was really groggy as I had been sleeping and turned it right off immediately so I could be mistaken about the CTV logo. It was gone and back to the usual crackle fire when I got up a couple hours later for work.

Why don't they put a nice piece of hard wood on to burn instead of what looks like decking boards, probably pressure treated. hahahahahaha

Hard wood wouldn't fit in the Hard Drive of the PVR...
