I have seen two occurences (both late at night) where all of a sudden I seem to loose picture on a wide array of channels. All I see is black, no sound is visible. Is this a problem with my receiver ?

I know a few people were mentioning some issues with the 5X00 series receivers, and a daily re-boot seemed to be fixing it for some. Just power it off from the front panel for about 10-15 minutes, and then let us know if that helped.

I've got a 5100 and have had virtually no problems with it, although I haven't recorded anything overnight in the last week or so . I'm wondering if your signal drop-outs in the wee hours are related to the current adjustments Bell is making to the satellites/transponders. I thought I saw something on the info channel about possible short term signal loss while this was being done.
