I was given indications yesterday, from Hollywood Suite, that the proportion of their programming with closed captions should be greater than 50% in about ten days, or early in Februrary. Let's hope that this will indeed come true.

Of course I remain skeptical, until I actually see action. Today, the proportion of programming with captions remains painfully low, as it has been for over a week now. It is really frustrating that whenever there is a movie that I really want to see, it is almost always one of those without CC.

"Knock on wood", but the proportion of closed captioning on Hollywood Suite has increased significantly in the past few weeks, let's hope it continues. I have been assured that the goal is to have 100% of programming captioned.

Also, I have been in touch with the staff of the Hi Fidelity channels, and they have assured me that a plan is in place to CC their entire library of programs.
