Best trackpad in PC laptop

I've tried searching Google for this with no luck.

For the past 5 years I've been using a Macbook Pro and have fallen in love with the trackpad. I can't swallow the $1,800 price tag for a new one so I'm hoping you have some recommendations on a sub-$1,000 15" laptop with a good quality trackpad.

I have a Dell Latitude and HP Dv6 and can't stand the trackpad on either one. I've been dreading the retirement of my Macbook Pro but my dog chewed the power cord a few days back and I'm not about to spend another $100 on a cord for a nearly dead laptop.
