I really don't think it will work. From what I can tell the FTA channels are on several different satellites. Aiming the dish requires presicion; a centimetre out and you lose the signal. The satellites are scattered across the sky. From what I can see the FTA dishes are a lot larger to make up for this.

The Bell dish is fixed; always pointing at the same satellites.

A motorized dish is the way to go for FTA. There are only two FTA channels on BEV's 91 and they are promotional channels.

Default Bell FTA

All audio channels are FTA on Nimiq 1 and 2 (BEV satellites).

You probably want the 33" or 36" dish with LNB and SG 2100 DiSEqC 1.2 motor from here.

I do believe you need a superdish for that to work properly.

Use the bell dish for bell, The lnbf for bell will not work on the other satellites, you will need a larger dish 90cm or 120cm is good with a motor for ku-band fta.

...except for all of the CBC Galaxie stuff, which *was* FTA until about half a year ago and is now Nagra-encrypted.

im using the regular bell dish to on my pansat receiver. works perfectly even with the bell lnb. but i replaced the lnb, to a dishpro quad. so i can pull in 91 and 82. theres a internal switch in the lnb, so a diseqc switch is not needed.

CBProd- what satellites are you picking up with your set up; besides the Bell ones you mention?

92, 81, 119 and 110.

92 and 81 are on coming in on 1 dish, and 119 and 110 have seperate dishes. then all three end up going into a diseqc switch.
