Default Anti- Seize Type Products

Namely, a product called: Kopr Shield, by Thomas and Betts.

I am thinking of using it on all of my threaded connections on my DBGH.

It says it has copper filings in it to help conductivity, but I get an infinite reading, when I stick the probes in it.

Could this, or a nickel based paste actually hinder conductivity?

I just don't want to be climbing the tower every few years, to clean oxidation.

Thanks,
Craig

Off hand, that doesnt sound good at all. Its pricey stuff, so I would email the company and have them explain. No help from the product info:

Maybe its supposed to work like car battery jelly you apply over the terminals to keep the white stuff from forming.

Oh heavens no, I would never shell out that kind of money for it.
There were a few partial containers amongst some equipment I purchased.

You're right, it is wonderful on battery lugs.
I think it is meant for heavy gauge industrial panels.

Maybe I should just stick w/ silicone grease?

Thanks for getting back so quick!

Waiting til I can start posting pics.
