Default Stereo down coax?

Assuming a professional tech does the 'adapter' work......

Can I take a 'stereo out' signal and send it down a coax cable to another adapted plug?

Thanks.

PS: if this is in the wrong forum, please advise me and/or move it.

Most RF Coax Modulators only send a mono signal, however, some can send stereo. Perhaps if you provide us with additional information on what you're trying to achieve, we can help you better.

If you mean two coax cables to send out L/R audio signals, yes you can. I am currently trying to do that but I'm experiencing some hum for a 60ft cable - connecting a Rogers PVR out to in my whole house audio system.

I am only using the standard shield. I haven't tried a quad shield for better signal protection.

One coax cable with passive adapters, not for analog stereo. You need active electronics to somehow multiplex them to one coax.

You could passively with two coaxes, or one cat5e cable (which has four pairs). I have use cat5e sucessfully, using my own hand built adapters.

Default Stereo down coax? NOT!!

Thanks, guys, for all the replies.

I'm going to go 'wireless' with the signal, now.

Cheers.
