My dct6200 taken off line in April, left on my account but shown as inactive, was plugged in last week. All the channels were there, surprised me as according to Eastlink (DeltaCable) it was inactive. There was however no Guide function or information on programming. I have reloaded the software and had Eastlink kick start it again, twice. Still no guide. Using the same remote with no changes to the settings.
I read on another forum where I might have to ask Eastlink to remove the unit from their system and re-enter it. Before I ask them to do this, does anyone have any ideas? |

If you haven't done it already, I would them to ask them to remove it then re-add it. This sounds like what I went through when I upgraded our DVR to the DCX3400 after I had already upgraded the other receiver to the DCX700. They were in the "wrong order" on my account.
The tech that came the next day saw it on his PDA when checking our account, made the changes on his handheld device and then our DVR started to show life. |

Thanks - After at least five calls to support, an Eastlink tech guru named Chris, finally worked miracles and fixed my iGuide issue. Amazing that they did not simply try the remove and add suggestion, rather than the 30 plus minutes of tech time on a number of different occasions.
