Ok so I am trying to watch Arthur on HD rod and it is doing nothing but freezing so I try a few others and all the same... And this is a usual thing on Fridays so I had given up but I really wanted to see it so I tried. Anyone else having issues with rod lately? My signal is fine as I checked it but rod stream blows...

So is the issue macroblocking or freezing up? Completely different things.

Sorry, you are correct. I always thought macroblocking was a de-interlacing artifact but it can also be caused by transmission errors.
If it's always happening Friday nights maybe the neighborhood is busy and you're getting congestion at the hub. I'd definitely call them up and complain. Typically you get the charge reversed. |
