I was on MTS's web site today and noticed that in the support section that there is a "RF remote" support link.

Has anyone seen one or gotten one?

Do you have to buy it or can you trade in your old IR remote and get a RF one?

This post says MTS charges $25.

According to the Ultimate Black RF Remote Complete User Guide (PDF 81.2 KB), it looks identical to the Black IR Remote.

Apparently, if there are situations where something is preventing the IR remote from working properly (some flat screens do, for example) then a UHF remote might be supplied at no charge. But for customers who just want one so they can have the STB hidden, they will have to pay for one. Maybe they will become standard on all installs eventually?
