I feel bad for Andy. A gifted actor that had to abandon the show because of cancer. But I'll give the new guy a try because the writing is really good.

Very cool. Not the same without Andy but definatly looking forward to it. He gave the character some real definition. Hopefully the new guy can get into the role just as much.

The brief clip doesn't fill me with hope that the new guy can pull it off but, I will watch and hope otherwise.

I see Lucy Lawless is still in it. That would be some miraculous survival for Lucretia!!

Lucretia is still alive. Stripped of titles and clawing her way back to power. That's what Lawless said at the Comicon panel which is on Youtube.
EDIT: Here's the panel at Comic-con. |

Hmmmm....
I am excited about the fact that Lucretia is still alive and the story possibilities that provides. Also, glad to see Gannicus was in the trailer - hopefully he has more than a supporting role in this. Was that Asshar whipping Doctore? The new Spartacus isn't as jacked as Andy was. Any word on how he's doing with treatment? |

I'm really out to lunch. I had no idea the new season had started already! Now I have three episodes to catch up on before Sunday.

Yes its been great so far. I haven't watched all 3 new eps yet and the new lead actor is taking a little getting used to but overall its good to have Spartacus back.

I find the Romans more interesting to watch than the ex-slaves. The scheming and plotting is just marvelous.

It's been a great season even though the lead character Spartacus has been given little to do except make speeches. His sword cleave through the one guy's head was crazy.

The start of season 2 annoyed me in the fight scenes where they were going way overboard with the slow-motion. The fights were constantly going from fast to slow, back to fast, etc. It was too much.
Looks like they realized this mid-way and toned down the slow-motion fight sequences. |
