My son fell today and broke the glass on his three month old iPod Touch. The device still works.
Does anyone know if this can be fixed or is it toast? Thanks in advance

You can probably fix it yourself. I know the iPhone screen replacements are pretty prolific on eBay, I'd bet you can find iTouch screens there too.

I replaced an iPod Touch screen about a year ago.
I bought a replacement bezel off eBay and it came with the tools and instructions to pop out the old one. It was actually pretty easy. One thing I discovered was to look for a bezel that included the home button. Most do not and I couldn't figure out how to remove the home button from the broken screen. I believe it was about $20 shipped from Hong Kong. |
