My Father-in-Law is moving into a care home, he has ALS and is becoming very mobility-limited, I need to buy him a simple programmable (not necessarily a learning type) with large buttons that will control television volume and Bell HD satellite receiver functions without having to keep switching modes back and forth (activity based, not function based). Large buttons would be a necessity.
any suggestions?

A search for senior remote quickly found the following previous (older) thread with many suggestions. Check out post 16. Others may have newer suggestions.
