Legend4Eva: You have to have 3 things to get the discount rebate.
Even if I wasn't offered the bundle discount, I still would have switched back to Bell Satellite. The channels are clearer and better sounding than Shaw, and Bell's equipment is just better quality yet cheaper...I mean, $0.00 for a pvr, don't get any cheaper than that. I use to complain about not being able to find someone who speaks good English with Bell, and I must say I'm impressed by the quality of customer service people they have now. I guess a lot of people complained about that, and they did something about it. My only complaint still about Bell, is when it rains hard, I lose satellite signal for a few minutes, yet with Shaw, I very rarely lost signal. Don't know what that's about. I've had my dish aligned by Bell service twice, and both guys told my my signal is very strong (something like 94%) so, it's not an alignment thing. Anyway, other than that, I'm pretty happy with my Bell Satellite so far. I'm getting more channels and paying less than I was with Shaw. I'm not paying around $67.00/month, for 2 digital receivers, 1 HD PVR receiver. I was paying around $100.00/month with Shaw, and getting only 28 HD channels, and no PVR. Plus I had to purchase my 2 digital receivers and the HD receiver. (Anybody want to buy them ? They're for sale) |

Got my June bill and my bundle credits were reduced by 1$ per service (TV, Internet, Home Phone = 3$).
Since June 1 apparently. Sneaky cash grab. I don't remember seeing customers advised about this on their monthly bills? Did anyone know about this? Is this only Quebec? So far this year: TV Basic + 3$, Internet +2$, Home Phone +2$, Bundle credits reduction +1$ per service. |

Yes I knew about it. Am also in Quebec. Did not find out through Bell though.
It was a member here in the Fibe section that told me that Bell would be reducing their bundling credits by $1 each. So If you have 3 services, it comes out to $3 more. |

Unbelievable.
Does anyone know if this is just a Quebec thing or accross the board? |

Bell charges a lot less in Quebec than Ontario. Perhaps they are trying to close the gap.

No, the bundle decrease is in Ontario as well. I can't remember the exact wording, but I believe the bundle credit is decreasing by $1 each service. It was printed on the back of one of my May bill pages.

For those of you who had the HD US time shifting and it was switched to the NON HD version, call Bell choose the option "cancel my service" (but pretend you don't know that's the dept you've reached) have them add it on manually. Myself personally they credited me for the regular time shifting and add the HD version back on.
Worked for me. |

@mcibus: Maybe the changes only apply in Ontario. There were no changes here in PEI for June. I did lose TVO/265 in May as expected but I've still got full HD and SD time shifting. I've also checked my account at the Bell website. Nothing has changed, at least so far (my next bill will be posted on June 22).

I just received my bill for June with no changes. $1 for time shifting. It seems they must stagger these increases. I have read several times in the past about price increases here and have not seen them for several months on my bill.

Im in Quebec and I pay 1$ for the HD US time shifting option.
With QCP you should even be charged for the SD version of us time shifting its included in your package. |

My invoice date was June 8 here in Quebec and the bundle credits were reduced by 1$ for each service.
What I am trying to find out is if this is only a Quebec thing or if Ontario also has these reductions in credits? So far, it looks like it's only Quebec... Anyone else get their invoice recently? |
