I bought the PN50C6400 this weekend and it looks amazing. I'll be breaking it in for the next few days but so far, I'm really impressed.

May have to get a new receiver - due to lack of some analog inputs on the new tv

delivered last night all seems fine- running a break in disk as we speak -just in case (not sure if it is really necessary)
aside from less inputs - only one issue showed up with rogers digital - now using HDMI - there is a slight echo delay when I use the tv sound and the digital out from 8642 to my AVR Sony strdb930 - did not have this before when using Hdmi/DVR cable to my previous Hitachi 50v500 - I like to use the TV sound sometimes to supplement voices - as I have found on some shows on rogers dialogue seems muffled . what is funny is the shows I recorded prior to last night don't have this issue??? anyway will update as I go - picture looks pretty darn good!!!

Greetings
Break in disc not necessary. Just use the tv responsibly. The disc is a waste of energy and your time. regards

As mentioned above, break-in is not required. Here's a useful post - optimization, etc:
http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=57741 The previous TV was probably not doing much processing, hence no synch issues. Most people have sync (echo) issues if they try to run the TV and the AVR, however a proper optimization of the AVR and speakers (especially the center channel) should provide you with good dialogue, etc - without the need for TV speakers.

Please do post back any more feedback you might have - I'm seriously considering purchasing this TV to take over the role of my Hitachi 42HDT52.

will probably cease the break in today -
the picture on this set without tweaking is very good could not detect this (buzzing sound) many people have mentioned remote has nice button but works "poorly" - usually requires two pushes to get anywhere on the menues etc - I programmed some into my harmony and the tv seems to react faster when the harmony is used . will be connecting vga computer cable today to see how that works used madcatz component adapter for wii to out to component seems o so far

Great Tv - only issues are some sound and picture format issues with Rogers (whats new!)
which I am working on and the remote **terrible response ** stopped running break in slides as suggested - all seems fine - have cut contrast down from those recommended on cnet etc - for now - did some picture tweaking on the PS3 input based on those settings - bought blue ray 5th element on weekend - WOW! everyone who walks in while something is on says "wow" the blacks are black - the detail incredible - even the "boss" who was not originally convinced we needed a better unit - is impressed! so far so good on most items
