This morning when I turned my TV and cable box on, there was no sound. I made sure the volume was turned up and the cords were in tight. I unplugged the cable box and did a warm reboot with no luck. I contacted Rogers who had me check the settings for sound on the box and everything was exactly as they had. The tech guy said they had to check some things out on their end. Anyone else have the sound on their cable box get knocked out recently? Any ideas how to get it back? Thanks.

I turned on the TV one morning and there was no sound. I checked the cables, checked the settings on the TV and the cable box and everything looked good, yet no sound. I called Rogers and went through a few things with the rep with no luck. The rep said they sent a minor update overnight and it was possible my box didn't receive the full update. They were going to resend the update to my box. I checked a few hours later, and the sound was back.
