HD Rental program no longer offered to new customers - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

Shaw's HD rental program (HD DCT or HD PVR) available to customer will no longer be offered to new customers. Existing customers who already have the terminals can continue to rent them but no new rentals will be available going forward. With the current prices it is recommended that customers purchase the units rather than renting them.

When asked if this was permanent there was no info indicating the program would be starting up again.
