Yes . . . this definitely happens with NBC and ABC as well. Not sure about CBS.

And it also seems to coincide with any simsub activities. Funny, my recording of Running Wilde was not simsubbed until the middle of the episode when they inserted a Canadian Leon's commercial which is why it was split 14 - 1 - 14 (yes it also caused it to end early).

As mentioned earlier in this thread, there is a different thread regarding simsub split recording problems and those are usually rectified if you record the Canadian Channel instead (or perhaps the Seattle channel), since there's no simsubbing.

Yes but are people actually sure it's not simsub related?!?! I mentioned my experience because Running Wilde was NOT simsubed . . . but Rogers DID stick in a Canadian commercial in the middle which caused the split to occur.

The discussion in this thread is regarding programming that is not simsubbed and originally the issue seemed to be limited to Fox Buffalo.

The other thread is regarding programming that is simsubbed and was regarding all (affected) Buffalo programming.

Fair enough . . . I would just be shocked if it's not all related!

No splits on Hell's Kitchen on the 15th. They must have fixed whatever it was. No posts in this thread recently either. Let's hope it stays quiet.
