8300 in hd 4250 in sd - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

Last night's Leaf game was showing in sd on my 4250 but was showing in hd on my 8300. Anyone else have an issue like this before or know why this happened. The pre-game ceramony was in hd but when the game started in switched to sd.

did you confirm it was on the correct channel? channel 500 is leafs tv hd..

My experience with the 4250HD is that the LED HDTV indicator is not always accurate, and flipping to a SD channel and then returning to the HD channel will usually restore the HDTV indicator. Give it a try if/when you encounter the problem again.
