Sportsnet will have the games too, probably using the international feed for anyone who is sick of McCarver (I'm getting there).

I'll be watching. It should be a great series, even thought it won't get the ratings that Philly or New York would get.

I love McCarver. What i'm sick of is druggy Zauns and Sportsnets feeble analysis. I'll be watching Fox, so sick of our stupid commercials.

Of course I'll be watching, it's my favourite sport. Very happy that the Yankees are out thanks to the Rangers. How about that Alex Rodrigues superflop batting .190 in the championship series. Sportsnet reported that his salary was 33 million this year, while the entire team salary for the Rangers was 55 million. ( I thought I read somewhere that it was about 70 million ).
I couldn't agree more about the stupid commercials on Sportsnet.

This is the first time in years that the World Series hasn't been played somewhere along the east coast. Hopefully no games will be delayed or postponed because of rain. Texas and San Fran aren't exactly desert climates, but the chances of rain should be less - hopefully. Does anyone know the last Series not played on the eastcoast? 2002: Angels vs Giants?

White Sox-Astros in 2005 was the last time that there was no team from either the AL or NL East. If you are talking about west coast teams, then yes 2002 between Anaheim and San Francisco was the last time.
