Default SW21 Grounding

Hi

I'm new to the forum and trying to set up my satellite.
When I look at the 2 SW21 switches on my satellite, I see that there's a stray bolt that is not really used...is that bolt used for grounding?

Can I run a grounding wire (copper 10 AWG) from the SW21 to a grounding point (my electrical service raceway which is only a few feet from my satellite)? I won't need to use a grounding block to ground my lead-in cable, right?

Thanks

Yes that is fine, although 90% do not bother with the grounds.

If possible, run all 4 lines to a point close to your Electrical Service and mount the SW21's indoors, away from the weather, it will be useful for troubleshooting during the winter and also very easy if you choose to upgrade to more receivers in the future.
