You would need to detail the 'audio glitch', there's been many of them over the years.

If you're talking about the dropout 15-45 seconds after tuning to a channel for 1-2 seconds, this is normal, it doesn't always happen, but it's to do with the swap to the multicast stream.

Do the Fibe terminals have an external power outlet that can be used to control something like a bias light behind the TV?
You can have the option of having the outlet always on OR have it go on and off with the terminal.

Thanks Nitra for follow up on my issue.

Actually i'm talking about cut in the sound for 1-2 sec that happens on channels and even when listening to recorded stuff on the pvr it does the glitch without warning. Image stay sharp and only sounds cut for 1-2 sec often.

I take it you're connected with HDMI?

Indeed Nitra

PVR to TV = HDMI
TV to sound bar = Optical

Would you mind trying, HDMI to TV, and Optical from PVR to sound bar?

Default Changing channels sound delay

My PVR is connected to my Denon Receiver via HDMI, when I change channels the image comes instantly but the sound is delayed by 1 - 2 seconds.

If I connect my PVR directly to the TV, I have no lag.

My nephew has Fibe tv same connection with Yamaha Receiver and has no lag.

I even upgraded my HDMI cables and no luck.

Anyone has an Idea, to remedy the problem or have the same problem. tia

Do you have upscaling enabled on the Denon?
It sounds like the Denon is taking a second or 2 to start the audio stream, this would only happen if you had upscaling enabled.

I think it upscales automatically, unless there is a place where I can turn it off. But then I lose some quality picture in the SD channels.

What model of TV/AVR do you have?
This isn't something to do with FibeTV btw, it's something with the rest of your hardware.

Also, can you try running direct to the TV?

@frankmar, it sounds like your AVR is taking a few seconds to figure out the audio format. Have you tried changing the audio settings on the AVR?

Do you have the PVR set to stereo or surround sound?

Channel to channel, there are sometimes different formats, I have the Denon 3311CI, it doesn't have this issue at all, you might have something enabled that's shifting the sound to Matrix mode, this will cause a delay if I turn it on in mine.

On the remote, you should have a button at the bottom D/ST, press it, see if that helps.

I had my pvr to surround sound, then I changed to stereo and VOILA no more lag.
BUT I lose my 5.1
I tried different setup in the Receiver to get Prologic or Dts 5.1 No dice.
