Exclamation New boxes coming to NL and NB

From my little bird, this is what he told me:

Quote:
NL and NB will be getting the DCX3300 and DCX3400 around the end of November, apparently.

Does this mean we are in for new (not as if we haven't deserved it) goodies for the Atlantic users? Only time will tell!!

Lets hope Danster! I'd be happier to find out they upgraded their datacentre SAN to hold more TMN/HBO/MPIX HD movies tho..

These are the new boxes I was talking about earlier in the summer.

They have eSATA ports for external storage expansion. Shaw is offering 1TB external expansion drives as I understand it.

The last two digits of the model (in the serial number only I believe) indicate the HD size..

3425 =-> 250 GB
3430 =-> 320 GB
3450 =-> 500 GB
3475 =-> 750 GB

Of course.. Our luck, they'll over the 3416... LOL

Now we just need some channels to go with it.

Compatibility only.. Rogers existing Motorola boxes can accept several diff types of conditional authentication..

Rogers will not open up the box market that way. Can't see it.
