I have a 20" dish with one LNB. I am planning on buying a 6131 receiver.
1. Will my dish, as is, be able to receive the HD signal, or do I need a Y adapter, two LNBs, and a switch? 2. If the latter, is it possible to purchase a Y adapter separately and would it work on my dish? Or would I need a new dish? Sorry up front for the newbie questions...I'm learning. Thanks, John |

If
is what your current dish looks like, it will not work for both satellites. You need to have a dish with a y bracket already, to be able to upgrade it to hd, which still requires an additional lnb and switch. Really, call Bell. They'll have an easier solution for you. Just tell them you want to upgrade to a hd receiver. |

Costa, Bell have never had a 20" dish like that, they were 18" or 24".
Black Plague, if you really have a 20" Dish, it needs the "Y" yolk to have even 1 LNBF, I suspect you will need a new Dish. |
