Having been unemployed for some time and EI benefits soon to expire, I am ready to ditch my SD satellite that is costing me $50+ per month which I only watch a handful of channels.
Are there any internet online sites, and free would be great, that can allow me to watch specialty channels like TSN, Discovery Civilization, National Geographic, to name a few? I checked out Hulu, but that is for US IP addresses. I tried that Hotspot Shield, but still need to tinker with to have it work. And the next step is streaming A/V to the television big screen. Any other options? P.S. I never forgave Star Choice for reneging on its promise to provide free HD Sports, and rejecting outright their rationale that the channels were charging exorbitant rates, while simultaneously SC was raking in record profits. |

GTA, mississauga.
OTA is network TV, not specialty channels. |
