From how I read things, wouldn't it be midnight tonight? That'll make it Aug.31st. Midnight tomorrow, would make it Sept. 1st.

Pick up 6.1 (Paris) This morning for the first time. Not sure if Tropo because I also pick up Fox 2.1 from Detroit area. Don't usually pick that up. I guess time will tell.

Fox Detroit actually transmits on channel 7 (VHF-hi) whereas Global Paris is VHF-lo. Tropo tends to affect VHF-hi and UHF moreso than low-band.

an example would be you had analog ch. 41 (toronto) on and you watched the national then local newscast. then your picture would disappear and you would see fuzz and hear a sound kind of like your near a waterfalls. then it's bye-bye analog.
i would think thats how it would work. |

Looks like Global Toronto has turned off the old Transition RF65 Digital signal as of about midnight.

Just caught the last seconds of 65-1 shutting off seconds after midnight. It was kind of funny that they were so anal about shutting it off so close to the deadline.
