That was pretty self-evident as soon as the jailbreakme.com was announced, wasn't it? I mean, if simply going to a website and hitting a "push the button" button can gain root access so as to jailbreak a phone - that's a security problem by definition, isn't it?

All operating systems have security flaws, it is just a matter of how long it takes to find them, fix them and have them cracked once more.
