I've lost My List content too before, and it was restored the next day. I did not call them or do anything about it, it just magically came back.

Anyone having any problems with Netflix on PS3 (or maybe other devices)? It has been very slow to load the last few days, but it would work. However, today (Thursday night), I can't get it to start any shows. Loading bar just appears, I don't even get the menu you normally get before starting the show. Also took a long time just to get the application started. Works fine on the PC.

(I also had a problem with my list and "recently viewed" not appearing yesterday.)

There have been a lot of reports of vanishing instant queues on hacking Netflix website. Some have come back others have not (yet)

As for the PS3, I just checked and it is working ok; shows everything and starts movies.

Same here with the PS3.

Cannot even get the app to start at all today. PC is fine. Internet connection is fine on the PS3.

The App on the iPad comes up white - a blank screen. I even uninstalled it, rebooted, and reinstalled. It made no difference.

I wish they would test things before publishing changes.

I think this is an outage and not a change to the site...

Default French language search ?

Did anybody notice the language setting at the top of the netflix login page ? If you sign out, you now have a drop down that goes between "English" & "French" to get a french interface. I clued in when reading the July Investor letter.

I then proceeded to Account Settings and noticed a new Language preference setting. After you change your language to french, there's a warning that not all videos are in french. You click on the link after this warning and it brings you to some Foreign region search. I wonder if it's the french search i have been waiting for.

Any feedback on how to reproduce the steps to get there from other ways, please let me know

We should be getting some CW / CBS / Showtime content soon: http://paidcontent.org/article/419-n.../#keep_reading

Quote:
Canada: CW—current and complete back seasons 90210; Showtime—past seasons of Californication, Dexter, The United States of Tara; CBS—library series including Numb3rs, Sleeper Cell, and Twin Peaks.

I checked my account and I have the language preference settings. I selected French and did a few tests:
1. PC showed and played movie with French audio track as default
2. The PS3 showed French but started the movie in English. I can select the French audio track.
3. Ipad showed French but the audio was English and could not change the audio track.
4. did not test the Wii.

I tested using the movies 'Boomerang' and 'Defiance'.

Still no way to find movies with alternate language sound track. I bet it is coming soon.
