Default TSN2 to offer NFL early Sunday games

as per:

http://tsn.ca/nfl/story/?id=322818

"While CTV will customize its NFL broadcast schedule to deliver the best games to each market, TSN2 will broadcast a marquee national game – giving viewers in most Canadian markets a choice between two different NFL games at 1pm et. "

lets see if that holds true, I was thinking TSN2 was just going to show the "other coast" game (ie in Ontario show a game from a seattle channel) so they could simsub on bell.

I dont like tsn2, but i must say, dont us canadians get the best damn NFL coverage?

We certainly do get the best NFL coverage. Guaranteed 4 games on Sunday afternoon between both slots (and thats assuming CTV, TSN2, Citytv and Sportsnet air the same games and you only get 1 CTV station), not to mention any "bonus" games on Fox and CBS. That is more than the 3 in US markets and 2 in New York and the Bay Area many weeks.

How much do you want to bet that they will put on the game that's already going to be on either CBS or FOX,so as to have the right to simsub.

TSN2 can't simsub. They will air the best game not available on CTV, which likely will be on CBS or Fox in for some people.

Why do you say TSN2 can't simsub.

Do you mean that TSN2 can't simsub NFL games...if so, why?

I've seen them simsub NASCAR more than once.

Simsubs are only on Bell.

So you're saying that no other service provider in Canada let's TSN2 simsub (other than Bell-TV)???

Wow...I did not know that...(it must be my advanced years keeping me in a vacuum of sorts).

Unless it is a small cable company that uses Bell Satellite to provide its source signal (perhaps this includes Telus). No other television provider simsubs non-Over-the-air signals.
