Sony Canada this week announced that Canadian consumers can now pre-order the company’s new LX900 series and HX800 series of 3D-capable LCD HDTVs.
The 3DTV capable sets feature Sony’s new monolithic design and should arrive in June. 3D ready with the addition of Sony active shutter glasses and transmitter, sold separately for $350, the HX800 series is available in screen sizes of 40-inch (KDL-40HX800), 46 (KDL-46HX800), and 55 (KDL-55HX800) and retails for $2,600, $3,000, and $3,800 respectively.

Interesting would this 3D TV set transit The world cup of soccer into 3D? or is that up to the Canadian broadcasters?
