Adobe Lightroom 3.0 - Directory Question - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

Hi!

I'm planning on purchasing Adobe Lightroom 3.0 when it comes out in the spring. I have about 5 DVD-R full of my photos that are mainly in RAW format. Where would be the best place to copy these on my MAC computer?

PC used to have the MY PICTURES folder.

Is there any advantage to having it in a particular folder when working in Lightroom?

If you are bringing pictures into light room I believe the best manner is to use the import function within the program and then it will import your files into its default file location. I believe its the pictures folder on a Mac but I can't be sure.
