I hope it's a significant update. "Home" is tired, and far from the experience promised two years ago!

Home feels tacked on as opposed to being an integral part of the PS3. Maybe if you logged directly into Home instead of the XMB when you powered on the PS3. You would still of coarse need to be able to access everything as easy as before but with the additional fun stuff. I enjoy the times I have visited Home but not enough to go out of my way to launch it.

its so painfully slow... i have not logged in for months... But when this first came out.. and please tell me if im doing something wrong............. I had hopped that i could tell all my pals to meet me in my apartment at 10pm and when everyone is there we can jump into a group game of MW2 or MW1 as would have been at the time... IT seemed to me that rather then sitting in game lobbies waiting for others that i could use HOME to invite the guys over to have a game.... I played around about an hour with HOME and then left.. its just to slow do load things..

I still think Home has great potential if they can figure out a way to seamlessly integrate it with XMB, game lobbies, integrate game characters into Home and vice versa etc instead of it being a separate standalone "application"... and work out some of the tech issues which IMO are a minor nuisance.

Wow, I think they made it even worse. Navigator looks like something from Wii, and the motion in the central plaza is jittery...stutters every six paces or so.
