A bug in its software resulted in some Facebook users receiving hundreds of e-mail messages meant for other users the social networking site said Friday.
Whoops. Not good when your emails are sent to the wrong recipient.

I wish there was an option to disable FB messaging, since it's really just a PITA. They'll never give that option, though, since they revealed to Platform (app) developers recently that they can access private messages of users and their friends when they install an app.
Presumably, this is for harvesting marketing information but it's obviously a frightening security concern. |

Just the other day I started receiving invites to a movie site via a mate who's been deceased for two years. Yeah, these guys are up to snuff.
