Hi all,
I'm having a weird problem with my SA8300 where randomly, it will not keep a buffer of my current channel i.e. I can't pause or rewind. However, if I change channel and come back, the buffer starts filling again, and I can pause and instant replay. The other thing I can do is start recording, but it won't record from the moment I started watching, but only from the moment I started recording. I've change the internal hard drive, but to no avail... has this happened to anyone else before? |

Haven't heard of this complaint before that I recall. A cold reboot usually solves these sorts of odd glitches.
Some of us have found the "record from record press" instead of "record from channel change" issue and the way I get around it is to rewind to the start of the recording, then press record. Then it always records the entire segment, instead of just from "record press" onwards. Useful post for those new to the forum: http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=57741

Seems to be a known issue on Videotron. Guess I'll have to live with it for now.
