Where to place power amp? - Page 2 - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

Some update and closure on this thread.

I finally bought some new equipment (pre/pro + amp), removed my centre channel and replaced it with a Monitor Audio R250 which fits perfect in front of the tv on the top shelf. This opened up the middle shelf for the pre/pro and I put the 5 channel amp where my Marantz receiver was.

Thanks to all for their help and suggestions.

I just prchased a new receiver and marantz says i need 8 inches of space around it for cooling is this true if not what is the minimal space i should have around my receiver?
