Yep, they rebranded the station. I think that eventually this stationw will just gets clustered in with the other Sportsnet stations and will no longer be a special tier...

I wonder when the chicken channel "free preview" will end ... or the cottage view I will never have ...

I have encountered channels that are listed in the IPG as being in preview, at least the date indicated this but when selected I was redirected to "Press ... to subscribe" and pay.

Anyways, the channels in my favorites which number roughly less than 20 are sufficient for my viewing interest and I wonder why I pay for all the others I totally don't care for.

I have to rely on the Internet to view many sporting events that I would otherwise not be able to watch.

I find it odd that Rogers leaves many expired free preview listings in the IPG's What's On: Free Preview section (many of the November 30th ones are still listed there), instead of only listing all the current free previews (it's missing Sportsnet World, etc).

Rogers is also often a few days late in updating the IPG's Free Preview section that list the free previews currently going on. I suppose they would prefer to keep you guessing, so that you don't call them and ask for the free month(s) to be applied to your account (if you happen to already be subscribing to one of the free channels at the time of the free preview).

I'm not sure why, or for how long this has been going on, but W movies on 326 is currently free. I don't know if the HD version is also free, but if you have an HD box, you can check ch. 564 and see for yourself.

Rogers has finally removed the IPG's expired free preview listings from the Free Preview section.

Sundance (channel 331) will be FREE from Thursday Dec. 29 until January 30, 2012.

In anticipation of the 2012 NHL All-Star Weekend in Ottawa (January 26-28), the NHL Network (ch. 418) will be having a Free Preview January 23 - February 3.

Catch the NHL's biggest stars as they are concussed and eventually forced to retire.

You can also watch the same free preview of NHL Network through other providers such as: Novus and Source Cable.

Sundance (ch. 331) is supposed to be part of a Free Preview until January 31 (the guide still says so), but as of today I no longer have it (it says Not Authorized).

I called Rogers to complain, but the techie had no idea what the problem is (he gets the channel, but of course not because of the free preview). Another person at Rogers told me that Sundance doesn't even show up as being part of the Free Preview on his current list.

Not sure if this is a case of false advertising or simply a premature ejection on Rogers end, but at least all the other Free Previews still work.

My friend also lost his free preview of Sundance on Saturday, but I just noticed that I now have it back.

Whatever the problem was with the Sundance free preview, it's now fixed.

The Travel & Escape (ch. 267) Free Preview has apparently been extended until February 29th (it's a leap year, so jump for joy).

Tune to Rogers On Demand (ch. 100) or go online from (Saturday) Feb. 11 to Feb. 26 to see selected TMN (The Movie Network) programming during the Free Preview period.

For a list of the ALL the shows and exact episodes that will be part of the Free Preview, simply visit the TMN website (or click the last link in this post).

It would be nice if we could view more than just the first two episodes (or only the first episode in some cases) of the various seasons, but at least it's better than nothing.
